About Us

Semper Fire Engineering Limited formally replaces Astute Fire (South) Limited on the 8th August 2022 with the Astute Fire name continuing to be used in Scotland.

This change comes at the end of an extensive period of restructuring and expansion of our services which has seen us initiate a site surveying team headed by Karl Guest and the setting up of a research department headed by Dr Cristian Maluk.

Cristian and his team will focus on the development of new solutions that we know the market wants. Karl and others will help ensure we have appropriately qualified persons checking that our advice is implemented correctly on site.

We believe the structure we have developed is in line with what the industry now demands.

The Semper team will continue to be driven by the Astute London founder Dr Craig English, with the core team continuing to be managed by Shami Smith Sandhu, Mark Davison and Ben Green.

To better support the business organisation David Ivall has been appointed Managing Director.
